These inclusive craftivities can be written to/given to anyone! Let’s face it, the average Mother’s Day craft isn’t inclusive to students without a mother. With these writing prompts, the letters can be written to anyone from mom to grandma, to uncle, to neighbor!

As such, these letter writing activities can be used year round. They are versatile for Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day, and Father’s Day.

Students could even write a letter to a friend at any time during the school year. These are also great for when you’re specifically teaching about kindness (World Kindness Day, for example).

This is also ideal if you’re teaching letter writing in particular!

There are 5 different crafts, so this could be used multiple times in the school year (much better value than a one-off Mother’s Day craft)!

The best part? This is primarily academic. Students aren’t just spending a whole lesson doing a bit of coloring. They are creating a full writing piece, so students are learning (while being a bit crafty).

 

Each craft comes with:

• a cute animal topper
• 3 types of writing line pages (6 dotted, 8 dotted, and 12 plain/primary lines). Each lined page has a title which matches the animal topper (and is a pun), followed by ‘Write a letter to someone you care about’.
