There’s short a – ab, ad, ag, am, an, ap, at
Short e – eb, ed, eg, em, en, et
…as well as short i – ib, id, ig, im, in, ip, it, ix
Short o – ob, od, og, om, on, op, ot, ox
…and short u – ub, ud, ug, um, un, up, us, ut
There are also worksheets that practice each short vowel (for example a ‘short a’ worksheet that practices ab, ad, ag, am, an, ap, and at). Finally, there is a worksheet that practices all of the sounds (short a, e, i, o, and u).
