Description
Your students will LOVE these 5 October flip books! In need of a Halloween craft? These are no prep and interactive writing crafts. These fall writing prompts are ideal for literacy lessons, literacy centers, writing lessons and writing centers.
Let your students brainstorm a topic and then create a colorful, interactive, and engaging flip book to showcase their learning and experiences.
These writing activities are great for literacy lessons (procedure how-to writing, explanatory, opinion writing or informational writing), bulletin boards, or research lessons.
The 5 topics in these October flip books are:
- All About Pumpkins (National Pumpkin Day – 26th)
- How to Wash Your Hands (Global Handwashing Day – 15th)
- I Love My Teacher (World Teachers’ Day – 5th)
- The Best Halloween Candy (National Candy Cane Day – 30th)
- The Best Animal (World Animal Day – 4th)
An instructional page for teachers (with an example picture) is included for each craft. All the flip books are made the same way in 4 simple steps (color, write, cut, and glue). However, this is no prep for teachers, so you can print and go! Students will only need the two pages printed, as well as pencils, scissors, and glue.
Each flip book comes in two versions, dotted and plain lines. These flip books can therefore be used in multiple grade levels! These interactive notebooks/crafts are great for literacy lessons (procedure, explanatory, or informative writing), bulletin boards, or research lessons.
