This bundle is designed for use in kindergarten or first grade. Each worksheet has an image to color, a set of words to cut out and glue to complete the sentence, and lines to write the sentence.

Students will work on decoding, sentence structure, handwriting, writing, fine motor, AND high-frequency words. That’s pretty good, am I right?!

CVC Sentence Building Worksheets
In the CVC resource, you will get 40 worksheets covering over 25 different word families. These are Science of Reading aligned and would be very beneficial in a structured literacy program.

These worksheets feature some high frequency words, including the, we, will, he, she, I, is, in it, am, be, and, on, and a. Besides these words, the worksheets use entirely decodable CVC words. CVC words are words made up of a consonant, vowel, consonant. They all feature a short vowel sound.
CVC words are some of the first words that students learn to read because they tend to follow the phonetic rules, can be sounded out in three steps, and always have a short vowel sound. Students will also get fine motor practice with cutting, coloring, and gluing to complete the worksheet.

Digraphs Sentence Building Worksheets
Want to up your digraph resources? Grab these 40 worksheets that focus on digraphs to help your first grade or kindergarten students master this phonetic rule. This resource features eight digraphs while using simple sight words and decodable CVC words to make sentences.

Digraphs are two letters that come together to form a new sound. This resource features the digraphs sh-, ch-, th-, wh-, -sh, -ck, -th, -ch. Digraphs can be found at the beginning or the end of words, so I have worksheets for both!
Students will cut out the words, then decode them, and put them in order to make a sentence that matches the picture. These worksheets are great for independent practice while you work one-on-one with students or in small groups.

I have created these worksheets using the following vowel teams: ai, ay, ea, ee, ie, oa, oe, ue, and ui. The worksheets also use a few sight words and some decodable CVC words. There are also a few blends, digraphs, and CVCe words that are utilized in this set of vowel team worksheets.
